Professor Evangelia Charmandari is actively involved in the supervision and teaching of Medical Students, Residents (Senior House Officers) in General Pediatrics, Fellows in Pediatric Endocrinology, as well as MSc and PhD Students and Postdoctoral Fellows.

As a Professor of Pediatrics – Pediatric Endocrinology, she has supervised 40 MSc and PhD Students and Postdoctoral Fellows. She also teaches at the Elective Courses ‘Clinical Endocrinology’ and ‘Child Psychiatry’, and the Master Courses ‘Research in Reproductive Endocrinology’, ‘Molecular and Applied Physiology’, ‘Clinical Pediatrics and Nursing: Research’, and ‘General Pediatrics and Pediatric Subspecialties: Clinical Practice and Research’.

Since 2015 she has been the Director of the Postgraduate Course ‘Clinical Pediatrics and Nursing: Research’, which was re-established as ‘General Pediatrics and Pediatric Subspecialties: Clinical Practice and Research’ in 2018.

She has been an invited speaker in 132 Conferences (38 International and 94 National)

Undergraduate Education

  • Regular teaching of Medical Students following the completion of her specialist training in General Pediatrics in 1995 and during all subsequent posts in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology (1995 – Present).
  • Regular teaching of Undergraduate Students in Molecular Endocrinology and Cellular Biology at the National institute of Child Health and Human Development, National Institutes of Health (ΝΙΗ) (2000-20004).
